Papa Johns Bets Big on Falcons Wins With New Pizza Deals

Date:

Atlanta fans can now eat half-price pizza the day after their favorite teams win. Papa Johns announced a new deal that gives 50% off regular menu-priced pies if the Falcons or Atlanta United take a victory. This move links food sales directly to game results, a smart play that rewards loyal supporters while boosting the brand’s local ties.

The promotion kicks off this fall with a specific code for everyone to use. Fans in the metro area can order online, use the app, or visit a store to get the discount. They just need to type in the code GAWINS to claim the offer. USA Today reported the deal covers both the Falcons and Atlanta United for the entire season.

A Brand Rooted in the City

Papa Johns did not just pick a random team to sponsor. The company moved its global headquarters to Atlanta in 2020 and already runs a major support center here. Chris Lyn-Sue, the global chief marketing officer, explained the logic behind the partnership. “Few cities bring the energy, pride and passion that Atlanta does,” he said in a statement. Because a Papa Johns Restaurant Support Center operates here, we are thrilled to strengthen our bond with the community via two groups that hold great significance for Atlanta fans.

This isn’t a short-term stunt either. The New Castle News reported this arrangement constitutes a multiyear partnership involving AMB Sports and Entertainment. AMB Sports and Entertainment vice president of corporate partnerships Dana Harple called the pizza chain a “natural partner” for the clubs. “Papa Johns is a brand with deep roots in Atlanta, making them a natural partner for the Falcons, Atlanta United and our broader AMB Sports and Entertainment family,” Harple said.

More Than Just a Discount

The deal offers extra perks for new fans too. If you are attending your first-ever Atlanta United match, you can get a free ticket through the “First Match On Us” program. That ticket comes with a $10 credit for Papa Johns. The partnership also launches with the Dirty Birds Rally on Friday, Sept. 18, before the Falcons’ first home game. A booth at the event will sell exclusive gear and gift cards. WSB-TV verified that supporters can locate six Papa Johns locations sharing a zip code with the stadium to facilitate easy pickup.

Sports marketing often feels like empty noise, but this deal puts actual money in the fans’ pockets. It turns a win into a family meal without breaking the bank. The company employs 2,500 Georgians and has 5,300 locations worldwide, so they have the capacity to handle the rush. “This partnership creates meaningful opportunities to connect with fans through shared experiences,” Dana Harple added. When the score is good, the pizza is cheaper. It is a simple formula that works for everyone.

The code GAWINS works at any participating location across the metro area. You do not need to be right next to the stadium to get the deal. The offer applies the day after every win, giving fans time to order in. With Tua Tagovailoa set to start the week 1 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the stakes are high. If the Falcons win, the city gets a cheaper dinner. If Atlanta United wins, the same rule applies.
