The lights at Fifth Third Stadium will shine on a full house this September. Kennesaw State football has officially sold out all seating for its showdown against Georgia State. This in-state clash is set for 7 p.m. on Sept. 12. The demand is clear and the numbers back it up. According to Kennesaw State University Athletics, every seat in the general bowl section is gone. Fans are now looking at the secondary market just to get in.
A Running Trend of Full Crowds
This is not a one-time fluke. The sellout marks the second straight packed house for the Owls this season. It is also the fourth straight overall. According to Kennesaw State Football, the last eight home games have included six sellouts. That kind of consistency builds a real home-field advantage. The atmosphere at Walens Family Field is getting loud. When the stands are full, the noise makes it hard for opponents to call plays. The Owls have turned their home ground into a fortress. This streak shows the program has found its footing in the local market.
Getting In Requires a Plan
If you want to watch the game, you need to act fast. Parking is extremely limited for the event. Kennesaw State University Athletics urges fans to secure parking spots by clicking a specific link before game day. Those who miss out on general admission can try SeatGeek. This platform is the official fan-to-fan marketplace for the school. The site offers a Buyer Guarantee to verify all transactions. It is smart to download tickets to your phone before you arrive. This step speeds up entry and ensures your phone stays connected. You can also transfer tickets to friends or family if you cannot make it. The team wants everyone to have a smooth experience from the moment they pull into the lot.
Looking Ahead to Future Games
The momentum does not stop after Georgia State. Single-game tickets are now on sale for the next four home games. The first of these starts on Wednesday, Oct. 7. That game will be a rematch against Jax State in the 2025 CUSA Championship. Premium seats for the Georgia State game are still available. You can buy them by calling the ticket office at 470-578-6957. The university is also rolling out a new Champions Fund. This fund helps raise money to recruit and keep top talent. As the program grows, the financial backing becomes just as important as the crowd size. The Owls are building a foundation that rivals the big names in Georgia.
